When God created Adam and Eve His greatest
joy was fellowship with Him. This meant living daily through intimate fellowship with the Father. But when satan
brought sin into the world, this relationship was broken.
Jesus Christ came to restore mankind
to an intimate relationship with the Father through the Holy Spirit who now resides within us. It seems this relationship
should automatically make us feel close to God but what I have found is relationships take time, desire and commitment.
I learned my relationship with God has to be one which
requires me to pursue His heart. As created beings we were made for worship.
It's a song, a yielded life and an indescribable feeling of intimacy we find in The Secret Place when
we abide in His Presence.
